The Six Dumbest Ideas in Computer Security
There is a great article over at ranum.com discussing what the author views as the six dumbest ideas in computer security. Many of the ideas are ones others have brought up in the past but cost or reduction of usability seem to win over security. A quick but educational read.

Well your blogs are really good and i am learning a lot out of it. As i am a new blogger and my website is www.rootprotect.com so any sugestions or advise for me would be highly appreciated.
Mostly the computers got infected due to human negligience or actions. The tips given above are good enough to follow to make your pc secure but your actions are still important e.g if you recieve an email containing suspicious email link or attachment never ever try to open it otherwise your actions may cost you.
